Costa Rica Recommendations

Hey all, I'll be honeymooning in CR in mid october this year and would like to do some fishing while I'm there. The wife to be isn't into it very much, so it'll likely be just me. we'll be staying in the Gulf of Payagayo area, which looks like there are lots of options. One i found was a half day kayak fishing trip through El Jefe sportfishing, which is the most affordable i've seen at $350. Since it'll be just me, chartering a full boat would probably be too expensive. Wondering if anyone has stayed in the area, what the shore fishing rules are like, and if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks in advance, tight lines!
