Giant Sea Bass Report - Big Jamaica
Special Offshore Wreck Trips
Giant Sea Bass - Jumbo Porgies Saturday Report 12/21 Excellent Fishing! Fishing was very good again on our Saturday offshore wreck trip. We had many limits Giant Sea Bass up to 7lbs, Jumbo Porgies and some blue fish. The pool winners were: Joe Armellino from Freehold NJ with a 7LB Sea Bass Yo Zhuang from Lyndhurst NY with a 6 LB Sea Bass. Fishing has been very good on every trip recently and I expect good catches on upcoming trips. The weather looks great for this week including the trip that sails 2AM the day after Christmas. The crew will open the boat just after midnight. We are sailing at 2AM to give everyone time for their Holiday celebration. We will be on the grounds by daybreak which has been the best action anyway. We then sail again 11:00PM that night December 26th, and also every night including the 27th, 28th, 29, 30. Sea bass season closes on January 1. After that we will be making special offshore road trips for jumbo Porgies, Cod and Pollock. Trips will sail 1:00AM every Saturday in January and February.
