Down Deep Bull - 9/1 Extended Marathon Fluke

[Down Deep Sportfishing]

Sunday aboard the Down Deep Bull, we ran an extended Marathon Fluke trip with a big crowd of great guys. We were greeted to a stronger than predicted easterly, however the Bull charged forward and took the ride. With tuff conditions, the crew proceeded to deck quality keepers along with short action and other bottom dwellers kept rods bent. By the end of the day most had what they came for and considering the hand we were dealt, the crew all left like winners. Back at it today, switching gears and pounding Porgies.

Operation: Tillotson is a benefit we are hosting in conjunction with Beacon 70. We have selected a Local veteran in need of a service dog. SFC Craig Tillotson is on a wait list for a service dog after meeting with him we realized how important and how beneficial this would be for SFC Tillotson if we could provide him with a service dog now. We went to work reaching out to those key people we would need to make this happen. We were blessed to team up with Perry Parks of ACDT Absolute Control Dog Training. Perry is working with us and SFC Tillotson to train and acquire the dog as well as working with SFC Tillotson and training him for proper handling. We will be fundraising for this project up until event day. There are several ways YOU can help!
