MISS BELMAR PRINCESS

Yesterday afternoon, we started off watching a group of humpback whales feeding just off of Asbury Park! Everyone was super excited as we got some really great looks at them! We then worked our way out to the east and picked away at some short and keeper sea bass. It wasn’t the greatest fishing but we did manage to put a nice catch together. There was a beautiful sunset on the way home and everyone went home happy. Our pool winner was Marsha Gumbs from Madison, NJ.

This morning, we had super fishing north of Shark River Inlet. We found a nice big body of fish and had excellent readings paved along the bottom. We caught plenty of blues and most anglers caught their limits with Ava 27’s working the best. Our pool winner was a tie between Marvin Momterroso from Morristown, NJ and Dan Wismer from Lenhartsville, PA.

This morning, we went north of our inlet and had excellent fishing. We started off catching sea bass, with some drifts being better than others. At times they were breaking on top and we had plenty of action with some spanish mackerel also in the mix. Plain jigs worked the best today.
