Smile Upper Shrewsbury fluking

Two of us got 4 keepers today on the inbound tide. White 6 inch Gulp. One on killies plus tons of crabs attacking all baits! Best day in 2 years. 24 inches was the biggest, 4 at 17 inches which were really thick and were released.
Fish tacos tonight.

You must be mistaken.. All the fluke are out deep in the ocean on the rocks and snags in 60-70 feet of water, and only eat GULP in the latest "hot colors".. Everyone knows that

It's been really good in August 5 trips 46 keepers up to 9 lbs. Most keepers in a day was 22 with my buddy catching 17.

Thanks for the report - this is exactly what I like about this website/forum.
I read your report Tuesday, threw my killie traps out Wednesday morning and took home 3 nice fluke Wednesday afternoon.
I would have thought the crabs and blues would have chased away the bottom dwellers but to my suprise there were still fluke around. I did go through a lot of bait though. I can't believe how crabs will hang on and eat gulp.
Thanks again

Gotta love when you save all that gas and still get some keepers.

I was out for about 3 hours and burned 3 gallons of gas.

Drifting for fluke is very cheap.
