Default LBI area report

The fluke fishing in the bays down here has been horrendous this year so I took a ride to the deep this past weekend and fished a wreck in 75' and found it loaded with jumbo c-bass from 3-5lbs tight and ling on the outskirts but no fluke. Had a school of rays go under the boat with cobia on top and was not expecting that and had noting to throw at them. Next day I was on foot early at the inlet and found slot size bass boiling on spearing till first light then non-stop blues. Blowfishing has been off the charts for weeks now in 6-8' of water and weaks are biting the best in yrs under the lights at night.

Awesome report! I've hit the inlet a few times this year but haven't had much luck, glad to see there's some good action down there.

Thanks for the report. I've seen more Weakfish in the bay this year than the last ten combined.
