Smile Bycatch

This weekend, while fishing the Wounded Warriors Fluke tournament,
I hooked into and recovered a nice little rod and reel combo.
Doesn’t appear that it was in the water very long. Absolutely no corrosion or salt water damage.
Brought it home and serviced the reel and cleaned up the rod.
I was fishing the Garden State South Reef.
If anyone lost a nice little fluke setup or if you know of someone who lost one in that area and can describe it, (reel manufacturer and model), I would be more than happy to make arrangements to return it to its rightful owner.
Please respond on this forum or PM me.

Maybe joey da fish. I heard he lost an outfit recently. Said he had a big fish on it. Maybe it swam south.

Talking Re: Bycatch

A live adult bunker managed to get his gill caught in the 100 feet of line that was attached to the combo. Used him for bait.
