Default Open Boat for Canyon

I am looking for an open boat for canyon runs. Yellowfin, Shark, & Swords. The boat I have been using for many years is no longer available.

It looks like the spreads are tracking in this thread

What cost range are you looking at and your expectations for the trip? Jenny Lee is an excellent boat and most of the 6 pack boats are priced about the same. Not sure which boat you used to go on that cost much less?

Yep, you get what you pay for and most boats are priced about the same...

I've been going out with the Tenacious a few times a year for the past 10-12- years or so. I have my boat that can get me to the canyon, but its small for the overnight thing. I've been paying 500 - 600 for years. I'm not looking to charter. just maybe fill a charter when needed. or an open boat. I've done the party boat thing many times buy not crazy about that. I guess we're all looking for deals.

I think most open boats or charters to the canyon will cost roughly about the same across boats in the 44’ class. 60’ boats will run more. Never got to fish on the Tenacious but it seemed he ran a great trip with great results.

If you want to Canyon fish, you'll be hard pressed to find someone to do it like Bernie did...
