Passaic River put-in help

Hey guys, looking for help on where to put in tomorrow in the pompton/ Passaic River area. Lincoln park, Montville would be fine. Flexible on where to get out as we will be able to get a ride. First kayak trip for me and my 12yr old son. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, nick

Rivers still 2-3 feet higher than normal from last Thursday’s storm. I would drive by one of the bridges to check it out first. It’s still blown out in the area I fish. Two bridges a a nice spot to put in! Good luck on your adventure dude!

Aqueduct park on Rt 202 in Lincoln Park is where we launch on the pompton with our 10 foot Jon boat to get to the two bridges area about 1 mile south

Try hook mountain road in line brook. About 50 yds before the horseneck road bridge. Theres a spot on the side of the road to park.
