Miss Belmar - GOOD DAY OF FISHING

Yesterday afternoon, we fished east of the inlet over some rough bottom. We picked at sea bass and sea robins. There were great bottom readings but the bigger sea bass did not really cooperate. Everyone still had a great time catching a few nice keepers and some shorts, along with a few 1-3 lb blues. Our pool winners were the Weehawken Elks Lodge.

This morning, we started off east of Shark River Inlet jigging a few blues and some mackerel. We then ended up running offshore where we picked with shots at bonito with spanish mackerel mixed in. Overall, it was a great day!
