Fished about 45 miles off MI yesterday morning and landed 6 bluefin tuna biggest was 45 inches, a dozen big blues and a jack. Anybody know what kind jack this is?

Looks like a Blue runner. Nice catch on the Tuna. Did you troll or jig them?

It's tough to tell from that angle but it does looks like a huge Blue Runner.

I think you're right - - blue runner. We were trolling - mostly sindwinder bars, crazy eights. The blue runner hit as we trolled by a floating 2x10 board. The big bluefish were in wolf packs. When we encountered them, all our stuff got hit. We kept one bluefish for crab traps - - it weighed just over 13 lbs.

Thanks, I just got a couple of sidetracker bars. Now I guess I need to get the crazy eights. I can't keep up with the trends.
