Default FISHERMEN/Back at it on Friday...

Finally, we are done getting the boat ready and will be back in the game on Friday. Figures the fish showed a week early this year and we just couldn't get it done in time.

Jigging has been hot so far using the Shads, plain Jigs and Crocs. From the guys I talk to they have said there haven't been too many small fish around and are impressed with the body of fish that are here.

This season we have Joey Jr. from the Angler working with us. Joey is a very good deck hand and promises to bring his A game to the Fishermen!

Sailing Daily 7:30am till 2:30pm. Fare is $70, Open Boat, No reservations just come on down. Closest boat to the Bite.

Looking forward to a good 2019 season.
Capt. Ron

I remember when it was $18.00 for dad and $13.00 for me. It was a big deal to spend $31.00 for the day, but dad made it happen.

I’m pretty sure that’s a reminisce kinda thing and not a dig at Capt Ron. How could it be if every fare out there is pretty much in line with that amount.

Gettin chippy around here.

Exactly my thought that’s why I question the angle of the post that’s all... everything was cheaper years ago ever try and take your family to a yankee game these days???? 4-500$ easy for a night out not like years ago for 10$ a ticket ... or to relate to fishing when spro jigs came out they were $1.75 a piece for a 1.5 oz jig now there $4 dollars.. everything is more expensive these days and it will never go back to those “ I remember when days”

My dad used to say, everyone complains about the price of a loaf of bread “back in the day it was a nickel” my father asked did you have the nickel back then ? No ! But You can buy the bread now..
Things get better.

Nothing against Ron and his great business. I hadn't been on a party or charter boat in some time and saw the prices in print, guess I'm out of the loop on the saltwater side.

I hear ya..Yea try paying $ 150 on a open boat without tip yet and not catch one keeper blackfish... those days hurt believe me..atleast right now pay 70 on a head boat and catch all the bass you want however your only aloud to keep one bass this year which is a whole separate issue... atleast your line will be tight most of the day.. good luck
