Miss Belmar - SUNDAY STRIPERS
After having a couple of great days striper fishing, we went out Sunday to find no bird life, very little bait and only a couple of fish until the end of the day where we found an area of fish on top but it only lasted a short time. We ended up with a couple dozen keepers and throwbacks. The fish went down very quick and it was short lived. After that we never found another fish. It sounded like everyone from the Highlands to Barnegat had a real tough day. Our pool winner was a 29 lb striper. Below are some pictures from both Saturday & Sunday.
We will be sailing daily for stripers as of this Friday, April 12, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. Saturday's pool winner Marco Vallejo from Union City, NJ with a 27 lb striper.  Sunday's pool winning striper weighing in at 29 lbs.
