Want to buy first SOT Kayak

Would like some input from those who yak often. Main use would be central Jersey lakes and maybe some bay waters once I get more comfortable. I am on the big side - 6'2" and 275.

I was thinking of the Hobie Outback with Mirage Drive. love the idea of using feet instead of paddle. Any thoughts or recos of other brands?

tons and tons of options....i am a fan of buying used as you can save a TON of cabbage....check CL and FB Marketplace....

which ever way you go definitely demo the yak before buying...i know Ramsey in rockbury has demos and rentals...assume there are other shops that do the same
