Mad gaffer fishing report tuesday dec. 11

We had an excellent day today, with blackfish. Many limits and a very nice quality of fish. Three fish were over ten pounds , two of them were Taken by the same guy who never really caught blackfish before and the other one which was the big fish our biggest so far this season 12 1/2 was scored by veteran blackfisherman Joe Gorden . We had people over their limits throwing fish back and some people only caught a few but for the most part the boat is pretty much got a full boat limit, many of the fish were four or 5 pounds. After the last two weeks of ten to one short aato to keeper ratio , It is very hopeful that some big fish are finally starting to bite. ( all three big fish were photographed and released both guys were real sportsman )We had some excellent fishing before but not really big fish. We still had some shorts , and not every fish was four or 5 pounds somewhere 16 inches but overall a very good average of large fish . Hopefully it continues , and the weather is with us through the first of the year at least. We have an open boat Thursday , tomorrow we are completely booked and we have room on the weekend weather permitting call for information and reservations Photo to follow
