Default Tog and Stripers

Me, Jarhead, Sven and Dfish left the dock a little late to let it warm up a bit. On our way to the rough stuff we stopped and jiggled some Stripers...Non stop action but all cookie cutters around 23/24 inches but good fun.

Got on the grounds and had a real pick and a lot of shorts...Reset deeper and much better action but had to wade through the shorts to get to the keepers. Got to be lights out for an hour or so on the jigs and the South wind picked up just enough to swing us off the fish...

Took a ride east and out to some deeper water...Current was screaming out of the north pretty good so no jigging but picked up a few keepers and more shorts on rigs.

Fun day and not as cold as I thought it was going to be. Did however get cold once the sun dropped.

That was fun fishing. I'd like to try to catch a slob striper on a jigging pole
