Today, there was not much action with the stripers on the beach so we went out east and found a huge area of jumbo blues and slaughtered them! There were plenty of readings with fish on top and nice long drifts where we just hammered them non stop all day. Coolers and buckets were filled to the rim and there were limits all around the boat. At times, we had 15-20 blues on at a time, all JUMBO fish from 15-20 lbs, with a couple of 6-8 pounders mixed in! There are acres and acres of them, as much as you want. If you are looking for jumbo blues, NOW IS THE TIME TO COME! We haven’t seen them this size since last year and this is the best blue fishing we have had this season! It was off the hook!
