MUSHIN - 9/6 - More Yellowfin on Poppers and Jigs!!!
More Yellowfin Popping/Jiggjng on 9/6- a quick afternoon tuna trip. We left the dock at noon for a bunch of guys playing hookey from work (that meant no pictures allowed!). But the Yellowfin were right where we left them from the last trip! We ran over them short of our destination and had fish hooked up on the second cast! We continue to pop and jig fish as we followed the schools. Three of the guys caught their first-ever tuna on a popper! If you’ve never popped a tuna on top this is probably the ultimate top water fishing you can do. Today’s fish were up to 75#. We were done and home by 1030 pm!
