Miss Belmar - FLUKE & SEA BASS

Yesterday evening, we went out to the east and had fantastic fishing! The weather was perfect and the sea bass were hungry- most anglers caught their limit of sea bass with ease! We also caught some nice keeper fluke along with some mackerel. All in all, it was a perfect night to be out on the water. The pool winner was Clyde Hudson from Jersey City, NJ, with a couple of big fluke!

We looked north of the inlet today along the beach, and found plenty of bunker on top with a few small blues. We were on slack water, and the blues would not cooperate with us. We decided to run further offshore and had excellent fishing with a good amount of jumbo sea bass, nice fluke, and some mackerel mixed in. Today was a great day to be fishing on-board the Miss Belmar Princess! The pool winner was Ralph Gallo from Plymouth Meeting, PA- thanks for fishing with us through the years, we’ll see you again soon!
