11+ lb Fluke, Research Seabass...Ling. Catching up on some reports. TAGGED FISH
30-40 mile wreck trips 7/27 & 7/30
Fluke to 11+ lbs, Ling & Seabass research. Some pictures An reports that I have had a chance to post. We have been out on the grounds every day until this weather shut us down. We had JR an his group of researchers from James J Howard Laboratory. Collection of live fish for ongoing research into the effects of wind turbine construction noise on the behavior of Black Sea Bass. Some open boat wreck trips which saw decent ling fishing with some beautiful seabass thrown in. We had Dan & his crew out for local bottom fishing with porgies, triggers an seabass going home for dinner. One of the highlights was Tank’s Fluke trip. We only picked at some keepers An shorts but when Tank brought his 11+ person best fluke to the net there was nothing but smiles for the crew. Congrats on that beauty!!!!!
