PB Smallie and A bunch of Largemouths from June

Caught a new PB smallie a few nights ago. Weighed in at 4 lbs and although I didn’t have a tape measure with me this was one long smallmouth. Fish was caught on the Raritan not far downstream from the confluence. Hit a Yamamoto Flappin’ Hog on a 1/4 oz jighead.

Also pictured are some of the nicer largemouths I caught in June. The fish came from lots of different bodies of water including: Overpeck Creek, a random office-park near Barbour Pond, an unnamed and off-limits north jersey reservoir, Echo Lake in Westfield, and the swimming side of Round Valley. All fish were released. Lots of good fishing in June, hopefully July will be equally productive.

Congrats on the Pb Smallie man! That’s a beautiful specimen! There’s some giants in the Raritan for sure. Your turning into quite the Bassmaster these days. Awesome fishing dude!!!

I was referring to the latter, above Duke Island Park.
