Default Raritan Bay Late Start Quick Finish Sunday

Had the pleasure of having Scotty and my son Andrew on board yesterday. Great to get Andrew out while he is home for the Summer.
Started in the NY side and worked some holes in tight. Non stop action with a couple of keeps including Andrew's 26 inch 6+ pounder on the wonder rig. Awesome light tackle battle. Learned I need a longer net if I am going to net big fish from the bow of the boat !!!!
With many dinks wasting out killies I had a hunch and headed to the back bay for the tide change..... Game on with really nice fish. Made quick work for the 3 man limit. Two biggest fish on wonder rig...26 and 23 inches... couple 21's on jigs.... NY side fish gorged with grass shrimp..... back bay fish were eating small blueclaws.....and they obviously like Pete's (85 and Sunny) jumbo Killies....thanks Pete !!!!....
A gorgeous afternoon on the water. Wind went West as predicted for a nice ride to the barn.
The bay has been hot so far.....lets keep our fingers crossed.

Great job Bobby and crew!!

I heard a lot of people struggled on Sunday so you were one of the fortunate ones to put a limit together..

Thanks Gerry.... sometimes a hunch, the old trip diary and a little luck thrown in pays off.
