Default WATER PROOF Sea Bass May 15-17

The NJ Sea Bass season opened up on May 15 .. with heavy winds forecast by midday and a crowd that did not want to get beat up, we took a lay day. On May 16 we got out with a 4 man charter and picked away at Sea Bass and added a few Cod, but fishing was definitely off and we had to work at getting bites. Today we decided to take a long ride looking and it paid off with a full boat limit of quality Sea Bass in just two stops .. looks like we will have a strong season ahead of us, as our sister boat NO LIMIT has been doing very well out of Delaware since opening day .. fish are on the move north and we should see solid fishing for the upcoming weeks ..

We have a few open boat Sea Bass spots left for the Spring 2018 season ..

May 29 - 3 spots
June 2 - 1 spot

Open spots are $150 per person .. bait , tackle and fish cleaning included. We are not afraid to run 30+ miles if needed to get you on the fish. WATER PROOF is a 2017 42ft Northern Bay .. visit our website www.bluerunner.fishing for more information

Great trip yesterday Mark! Really enjoyed fishing with you, Garrett and the rest. Love the boat and looking forward to doing it again.

I visited your boat and it's a beauty. But I noticed you don't have a winch on the bow. Most boats that bottom/wreck fish are rigged with two anchors. How do you hold the anchors? Just wondering.

They use two anchors...the winch is in the cockpit. Great boat, captain and mate.

Thanks .. we always double anchor for Blackfish and sometimes for other wreck species depending on conditions .. our hydraulic hauler and davit is located in the cockpit, right near our cockpit steering station so I can drive boat and haul anchor at same time from cockpit
