11th-13th Bass Report
Dunked the boat tuesday night and headed out on our first trip of the year Wednesday morning.
Wed AM Bass chewed their heads off, only issue was that they were all shorts. Bit all on clams, no love for worms or chunks. Had fish to 26.5. 21 total fish Wed PM Got the anchor out and had the first keeper of the year on in minutes. Nice steady chew all night, the crew was a little rusty and missed way too many bites. 16 fish 5 keepers Thursday AM Gave it a shot for flounder and struck out. Ran out to a different area and had all short bass on clams. These fish were total dinks, 14-20 inches! At the change of the tide the water quality became horrible so we called it quits. 7 fish Friday AM Insane bass fishing right off the bat. Poppers Jigs and shads. Nothing big but the fish were aggressive as hell with multiple bass following lures boat side. Once the sun got high the fish spread out. Ran to where we've been doing well on bait, and had a really nice pick of fish to 33inches. 27 fish 13 keepers Heading back out after work, so a PM post will be up later. Few pics below.
