Default last night for eyes

started at 5pm and fished till 8pm.good action with the shorts but only one
keeper caught.everything was the last hour of light and 1st hour of dark.slow cranking sticks was the ticket.to keep us on our toes the slim darts were there in numbers and big.i tagged a few so if you catch any with blue & silver husky jerks attached please return{lol}. pretty good open water fishing for the last day of february.we were using black and silver, blue & silver, fire tiger and some of the heddon image lures.slow and steady reel was what they wanted.now the walleye is closed till may 1st going to focus on the panfish.

Thumbs up Re: last night for eyes

I know evenings in April can be down right right crazy, bound to break wide open any week now.

glad to hear you did well, and you did not get any hooks in your finger alright. the weather is going to be tough to fish on Friday but after the rain they should be moving around.

went last night...it was strange, no big crappie or perch until it got fairly dark then had a couple, a big fat pickerel, and lost a walleye before he was in reach.
