Default Belize Bound

Heading down to Belize Thursday for 10 days of fishing and diving. This time of year is the top of the Wahoo season. I already have a day offshore, a day on the reefs, and a day on the flats booked. Can't wait. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

Bring plenty of sunscreen. Lousy beer but great fishing, stick to the rum.

Had an invite to fish there once... Was one of those mother ship deals where you stay on a larger boat and fish off smaller ones.... Could kick myself for not going

Merry Christmas, catchem up and please send us some reports

Man I do envy you..! I had a 1 day cruise stop in Belize a few years ago.. I knew if I didn't fish I would forever live in regret.. being on very limited time, I arranged a trip out of the tender port in Belize city..The guide met us at the port in a CC and took us on a short ride up into a little jungle river/canal.. I swear it was the most action-packed few hours of fishing of my life.. had almost constant action throwing soft plastics along the mangroves on some MONSTER snook, jacks, and I even caught a nice Permit...but we never even scratched the surface of that place..I dream of getting back there some day.. have a great time!!

Yea this place is great. I first went there in 1994. this will be my 31st trip down there. somewhat affordable if you can find a good deal on the air. I was there in April of this year. The place has change a lot over the years. In 94 you could buy an acre on the beach in San Pedro for $25K. about 1.2 mil now. I should have bought 4 back then and I would be retired. Still a great place. I stay out on Ambergris Caye. Great fishing north of town. Offshore fishing is really good and it's only a mile away. I will be there in the morning. Merry Christmas
