I agree with Dave on the report - I wound up with 16 ling and 2 seabass.
To add some info - 5 dudes from Philly showed up and we didn't leave until 8. Of course they were drunk, stumbling and relatively rowdy in the noise department. This always makes for a relaxing day on the water....
Anyway, these guys had less fish in their one combined cooler than either Dave or I; ling bite was tough enough to feel, and when you show up with a $28 rod/reel combo from Target... well, you see what I am sayin'...
Highlight was on the trip back - 25 knots from the south and we had a 1.5 hour ride back into the wind. One of the Philly guys comes out of the cabin and proceeds to projectile vomit everywhere, with another friend coaching/screaming "get it all out, get it all out!" - hilarious! Chris and I got to share big smiles while he took some photos of this "special event". Ha!
Fun stuff - anyway, I'll be back on the Mimi for sure!
Let us know how you guys make out today Dave!

LOL - those were JMurr's neighbors for sure.
Yesterday's 7/10 fluke trip:
Capt. Kenny nearly sailed to Sandy Hook looking for warm water to get the fluke bite. It was rough....I would say <10 keepers on the boat and even tough hook up with shorts.
Bucktailing or dragging bait produced similar results.
Good fishing with Snaps and Scotty yesterday.
