![]() I never use scent on my lures because I dont want to deal with my hands and clothes stinking but my two buddies that I fish with always use scent sprays or tubes on their lures and I have noticed absolutely no difference in the amount of fish we catch. I think scents are more psychological advantage for a person than it is an actual advantage....

![]() I agree that the choice of lure (size, color, etc..), action, and placement are the primary enticements of a strike but I'm looking more for a scent cover than an attractant. With all the ticks getting to and vampire mosquito's at the ponds I fish I coat myself with bug spray when I get there. I wipe my hands on a towel but that doesn't eliminate the bug spray which I'm assuming is transmitted to the soft bait. MAYBE I'LL TRY MIXING FISH ATTRACTANT WITH BUG SPRAY SO IT REPELS BUGS AND ATTRACTS BASS! I'LL GET RICH, QUIT WORKING, AND FISH ALL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
