Park pond fishing 🎣
The last time that I went fishing 🎣 on the Carnegie Lake Aqueduct, a fisherman was reeling in a big fish 🐟 then the hook pulled and his lure flew onto the Aqueduct like a rocket. Someone on the Aqueduct is going to get hooked soon. I went to Walmart this afternoon and found a 1952 wheat penny on the floor. Most of the red worms 🪱 were gone. I found a container of 30 big, fat, lively worms 🪱 for $4.14. Most of the worms 🪱 were big enough to break in half and get two baits from each worm 🪱. Both of my fishing spots in 54 degrees flooded Robert G Martin Lake were still underwater so I went to my new backup to my backup third spot. Didn’t see another fisherman again but after I caught my first fish 🐟, I was surrounded by onlookers who are going to step on my fishing rods. After I caught my first carp for this year, I hooked a catfish on my second rod, then handed it to a bystander who loosened the drag then tried to reel in the fish while holding the rod upside down and reeling in backwards. I gave the carp to an onlooker, then took my rod from the bystander, tightened the drag and reeled in a brown bullhead. After the first group of onlookers left, I caught a second common carp and gave it to a second group of people. Landed 5 brown bullheads , 3 black crappies, 3 bluegills and two common carp with Walmart red worm 🪱 halves. 9 hooks on three rods was too much to handle. I’m going to try something different tomorrow if no one is in my new spot. Caught 230 fish 🐠 in 17 fishing trips this year.
