Default lake winnipesaukee trip

badger and i left nj at 8:30am on the 29th headed for new hampshire to fish lake winnipesaukee.got to the hotel at 1:00pm and settled in.we did not know the hotel had a lake 50yds behind with access.we fished with a guide from 7am til 12 noon on the 30th,31 &1.did well with lakers, big white perch and smallmouths.have never seen white perch that big in person with most over the 1-1/2 lb mark.no big lakers but enough of the 19-24 inch to keep ya happy.the smallies were all 14-18in.both jigs and live bait worked but bait was the ticket this trip.as i prefer to jig, badger was running and gunning the tip-ups and putting some good fish on the ice.after fishing the morning on the big lake badger would go right back out on the smaller lake behind the hotel.he had fish in the first hole cut and continued to catch the entire time.with temps pretty cold up there i opted to sit out the afternoon trips and just enjoy the natural beauty of the place & just relax. badger was without question the MVP on this one.we had great time and already booked for next year.anyone thinking about going up that way just pm badger or myself for more info.

It was a great trip indeed the snow, the lake, the fish we caught and the food that we had was good not everyday you can spin a wheel at the bar and win a free hamburger dinner. Tim Moore did a great job putting us on the fish and we even got to help him out when his snowmobile had problems that would have made his life difficult, a breakdown on Winnipesaukee is no joke. if you want to go fishing on that lake check out tim moore outdoors on facebook or online for info he was a top notch guide and a cool dude for sure looking forward to fishing with you again bunker dunker always a pleasure.

Always wondered how that lake fished through the ice.
