I’ve been fishing for fluke out of Belmar and Point Pleasant for years, and I’ve stuck with PowerPro most of the time—it’s reliable, casts smooth, and holds up well. I’ve also tried Sufix 832, and that’s solid too, especially if you like something with a bit more abrasion resistance. Lately, I’ve been hearing good things about Daiwa J-Braid, so I might give that a shot next time. Honestly, 20# is perfect for bucktailing fluke; it gives you the strength without being overkill.
