Default Cow Nose Rays…….

If anyone is interested in taking the kids to see them……between Chapel Hill #4 and #6 there have been hundreds if not more than that schooling on the surface consistently since last Wed.

Once the afternoon wind kicks up they are moving deeper out of sight.

Wed-Thurs-Fri and this morning they were out in force. Very cool sight to see

Cool and for whatever reason the water seems to be a lot clearer than usual. I guess because of the lack of rain run off.

I caught, tagged and released a cow nose ray in Manasquan Inlet last year. Look for a yellow tag in the wing.
