A Hot One on the water.
Left the barn in the am. Was nice and cool with flat seas. Decided to head east on a hunch instead of south. Hit some numbers with nice size Sea bass but only a few target species. Finally headed over to the MB area where there were lots of boats drifting for fluke and anchored for chub mack/blues/biskits. Started catching short fluke and nice keeper sea bass which where tossed back. Once again lots of current and 8 oz sinkers needed. Saw a large shark on the surface a few times. Caught short fluke all day and lots of big sea bass. Headed back to the barn early due to it being really hot out there. I will be at it again in a few days. I can't always catch like I want but I try to give a honest informative report. Tight Lines.
