PROWLER5 OCEAN FLUKE REPORT 8/22/2023.

Hey Gang, It was a beautiful summer Sunday out on the fluke grounds. Working off a little of Capt Scott’s intel we had some great action to start the day. When the bite slowed up we switched gears went deep and started popping some pimples looking for big fish.
There were at least a half dozen fish landed in the 4-5lb range and we lost a giant definitely a DD on top of the water. The fish spooked on top of the water and the high hook snagged the net. Ended the day with some beauties, limits and the usual sea bass in the mix. Kudos to Joe Sr. and Jr. it was a hot one and I kept them on their toes all day. It was a great day, see you in the AM.
