![]() Ocean Fluke Report - Largest Fluke of the season 11lb 8oz
Well I certainly did redeem myself from Friday's trip. We boated our biggest fluke of the season so far caught by Bill Cheiavarini JR of Piscataway weighing in on our tournament scale at 11lb 8oz. I do not think too many will be joining the monthly June fluke pool after this fish. Great day all around on the fluke grounds, as we have around 40 keeper fluke with many shorts in the mix. On our second drift of the day, we found these fish by ourselves. We loaded up on sea bass for an hour this morning. All in all a great trip for a full boat of mostly prowler regulars. Our next trip will be Tuesday 6/13.Thanks, Capt. Scott. Last edited by Prowler 5; 06-11-2023 at 09:22 PM.. |

![]() I forgot to mention that Billy Cheiavarini, Jr. of Piscataway is obviously going to win the monthly $20 pool for June, but he's not in the seasonal pool. Big Joe is still leading that one with a 5.3 lber. I also forgot to mention hats off to my crew, Joe Gorski and his son Joseph, Jr. they did an awesome job yesterday - as always. Capt. Jack and I are very lucky to have them. Busting their tails and caring about the customers and business. In this industry good deckhands go a long way.
