Caught and released 62 white perch to 9”, 2 yellow perch, a bluegill and a black crappie with Walmart red worm halves on two hooks and an unpainted 1/16 oz leadhead jig on 4 lb test line in a 52 degree Central Jersey lake this afternoon in the rain. Landed 5 doubles. I’m now averaging 45 fish per trip in NJ freshwater this year. I caught 135 fish with one container of 30 red worms 🪱 and still have some bait left. Just bought 56 cans of whole kernel corn at ShopRite’s cancan sale for carping later this year.

Caught and released 20 fish on Walmart red worms 🪱 today including a yellow perch and shiner double. 155 fish with 30 worms in 4 days in the same spot was great. After I ran out of bait, I only caught 8 fish on lures and Gulp.
