It's good stuff. Soooo damn good.

As I was loining out the 12 fish we brought back to the dock I couldn't help but notice the insane amount of grease in these fish. My Grundens were repelling water like oil based wood finish afterwards when I was washing them.

Must be the anchovies out there...

Chucky!!!

So glad to see you are still out there slayin' them!

First time logging on in a few years. Gad to see the fishing has been good this year. I really miss these trips. Having a 5 year old and now a restaurant keeps me busy. Maybe i'll try to get out next year. I need to bend those rods that Shorts built for me.

Take Care and keep it up!!!

Mark

I’m still around! 😝

I will really try to make a point to book at least 1 trip next year. That just might jump start my fishing trips again.

Fresh tuna at a BBQ restaurant? That would be something new 😝😝😝

Don't know what they're eating but they're really greasy and the best tasting yellows I've ever eaten. Insanely good...

It was an exceptional trip. Rarely, in my nearly 35 years of doing this, have I seen such wild, consistent canyon fishing on, tackle busting, gaff destroying, big yellowfin. After such lean years in 2017, 18, 19 --it is a joy. The fishing at the canyon wall has been great in the autums of 2020, 21 and so far, this year.

I'm glad to see the customers bring their big coolers for the trip home, left in their trucks. Friends and family members are being provided for. Ice em up and take care of the fillets next day!

I have been enjoying sharing the benifits by sharing a few loins myself. Also, had some good fresh tuna steaks and even vaccum sealed some meat for the winter.

Getting ready for another run in an hour

See you Weds, Chuck!
