Spring lake tool shed kids contest

Went to the spring lake kids contest today with my father in law and son. A guy stole the spot we claimed. Then when I asked where his kids were he lied and said grandkids were coming. Then not 5 minutes later he says he’s alone all day. There’s signs all over stating kids fishing zone only. Morale of the story if your pathetic enough to fake having kids or grandkids to fish in the kids only fishing zone area, on opening day, during the kids fishing contest seek the help you desperately need. What a tool bag. Other then that bag of dicks great time and another great job done by our hosts! My son ended up with two trout. Seen kids hauling in HUGE 7+ pound trout.

This AM, I reminded 2 angler kayakers floating / casting their way down the South Branch opposite the 3 Bridges WMA that the water was closed to all angling until 5 PM today.
