![]() Just learned late this PM, John Mullen, aka: Cecil B. DeMullen, Muldoon and Socks has passed. This man started me fluking, bluefishing and especially tuna fishing...taught me most of what I know about the blue water but also told me "I didn't tell you everything". Tight lines my friend, always in my thoughts.

![]() Sorry to hear it. Chuck, John, and Dennis were fixtures on the Gambler tuna trips on the old boat. I think John and Chuck were on my second Bluefish trip in nj so many years ago. John was a good person and a great tuna fisherman.

![]() I remember one tuna trip I worked on with John and Chuck. It was an early season trip and he had sneakers on with old ragged sox on. Well he landed the first tuna of the season and was looking for his prize. Well I went and got a pair of the ugliest pair of sox with fish on them and presented them to him on his next trip. He laughed his ass off and so the name of SOX. Tight lines John you will be missed. And yes he wore the sox on all future trips.
