Default Blackfishing Report

We left the dock at 7 AM. Raritan bay was snotty. 2 Footers but tight.. Turned the hook. Big seas. 5 Foot swells. Got to sandy hook reef and still had big seas....but long dominant period. Just swells but it laid down later in the morning/afternoon. We started on the north side of reef and had a slow pick. Made a move to the south side and bite was on. They were chewing for 2 hours straight. We got our limit and sent several keepers home. A couple keeper sea bass and 1 doggie kept for the craps! Believe it or not there were albie schools chasing small baitfish schools all over. OVerall an absolute outstanding day on the water!
