![]() In the dead calm and heat of Saturday afternoon in Raritan bay, there were several pods of dolphins about 15:00-17:00. Pretty much from Chapel Hill channel out to Romers Shoals.
With that, past experience and Saturday's experience says the fishing dies. The two party boats up there both left area shortly after too. They still around?

![]() We picked at them on Sunday, seemed like there was decent life on the channel edges. Lots of chatter on the radio looking for dolphins and whales, but we didn't see any.

![]() Saw a large pod of them Sunday off the tip of the hook by the rip. They were swimming along with the outgoing tide. At least 50 of them. A great sight to see.
