Surf striper report and PB
Hit the Barnegat Light surf late Friday afternoon with fresh bunker right off the bait boat. Fist fish was about a 2 lb. blue which went to swim another day. Guy next to me was fishing for the last 4 hours without even a bite and as he was leaving asks me if I wanted his salted clams which I said sure. Reeled in one rod and put a nice gob of clam on the circle hook and sent it out while the other rod had a nice piece of fresh bunker. Within 5 minutes the clam rod goes off and it’s game on with. 42lb striper. If that guy is reading this report he has to be pissed. Couple more bluefish hits then the skates took over and I called it a night.
