Afternoon Brookies
Found some pretty brookies that wanted to eat today. Caught 2, missed 2, lost one nice one that I would've loved to land. Beautiful fish, fishing for them is unlike anything else. All out of the water for less than 20 seconds, handled with wet hands and a rubber net, and swam off quickly. Very special that we have these guys in the state! Tight lines!

Love small stream wild brookies. I gotta get back after them, somethings changed in my go-to stream and they're all but gone. Time to find a new one.
