![]() Decided to take advantage of slow work and a warm November afternoon to see if I could find some fall trout for the smoker on the Ramapo
Arrived in Mahwah around 130 to way too bright skies and decent flows for November. Worked a several 100 yd stretch with nothing to show for it, not even 1 bite. Worked my way back and finally connected on a very purdy fall rainbow on the Phoebe. This is a spot that normally gets fish from the TU guys spreading em around and it appears that probably didn't happen this fall. Either way it was a beautiful afternoon of peace and quiet ![]() Last edited by BT67; 11-20-2020 at 07:24 PM.. Reason: 1 |

![]() Where are all the Trout hiding? Some spots by me are super low and the smaller creeks are pretty dry. At least the weather was nice and you found one! Pretty Rainbow!
