![]() No Pike in the millstone river? Wonder if they'll remove it from stocking completely or just this year?
I know in last year's digest they mentioned how they dont get many pike reporting back from there, and were looking to dismiss it. |

![]() The stocking allotment and chosen waters always is questionable.
Why so many Walleye in the Delaware ?? Hardly any stocking of Bass During Trout season discontinue lakes in Sussex County but stock in a city pond Rumors of stopping trout stocking next year at Clinton Reservoir (holdover trout area), the place is awesome and plenty of trout caught by boat. The division says lack of interest, that is on them. They insist on stocking Rainbows and they tend to jet into deeper water, when they stocked Browns they hung around and there was always people wading the shoreline. Maybe they will take the Trout that are to be stocked in Clinton and put them in the Passaic River by Newark. |

![]() I think in addition to the low recovery reporting, the return of the American Shad after the dam removals had something to do with it.

![]() Yep. Once they got that report of shad up at the next dam after taking that other out, they also did that survey and found a bunch of fish like a young flat head, big walleye, but not a single pike.
