Wild Sunday trouting!!

I Ventured out to some new turf to me this morning super close to home. Drove few mins down the road to hit the first spot, last week I had a nice size fish swipe at the plug and miss, today I went back and first cast I stuck him this time! Nice brown... cool! Start working my way down river here and there everything’s great all sudden ughhhh where’s my rod???? Apparently somehow it flew out the back my truck???!!! Yeah ... so if anyone finds it let me know lol if not and u wish to keep it MERRY CHRISTMAS PAL!!! So off to Walmart picked up a decent cheap shimano set up and go back to the scene of the crime. Met up with eddie and skunk for a bit but I had better luck earlier in the day upstream so back I went. Worked Along ways down stream fishing every pocket/ seam /pool I could... picked away at some nice wild browns and some good looking bows also. Hopefully the weather cooperates the next weekend or so and we can jump in the boats one or two more times before we get the hard water.

That’s where the good Trout live. You’ll never see anyone in those stretches because the other guys would rather catch Rainbows in the TCA’s. Pretty weird if you ask me. These are some beautiful NJ Trout my brother! Stay here and fish!
