Congratulations on a fish you don't see caught up north every day, even if they're making their presence more known. That's a nice Cobia in anyone's books. If you don't mind me asking, what were you trolling when it hit? That'll make your day for sure! Great job!

we caught two cobia a few weeks ago a couple hundred yards off sea bright beach. Go figure.. :-)

Most cobia are caught within sight of land... the Cheesy is loaded with them.....mudhole is considered inshore also

saw a picture from LBI and know of one from sandy hook It seems there is a northward migration early this year - early look at all the bonita, spanish macs and even the really early arrival of kingfish I wonder what's next???? My money is on croakers |
