Route 46 fishing
Quick 2 hour walk along the highway. Dropped another nice pike and bass, new to baitcasters so keep hitting the bail with palm when setting hook lol. New here also, my first post!!

all baitcasters i've ever used it's very tough to click the button to open the spool lock if there is any pressure on the line. It's a feature/mechanism in the reel. yours may be broken, is it used or been dropped? that shouldn't happen that easily.

It’s a brand new abu Garcia I haven’t dropped it but I heard it click back after I started reeling. I’ve fished with spinning reels the last 30 years so I will have to go put it under tension and see if the button can be clicked down still. Thanx for the response
