9/1/2018 Caught my first mirror carp (24" 6.5 lb) for this year in the Millstone River yesterday evening on my last cast for the day with my homemade corn meal bait on a #8 red treble hook and 12 lb test line. Only 1 of the 76 carp that I landed this year was a mirror.

Nice catch, I never see many of those with how abundant the common carp are. I got this one up in a pond last year. Took a curly tail jig
