That was one beast of a fish, Joe. Was great to see you rebound in that way after the failed-knot debacle!

I am proud to have been part of this amazing adventure and beyond relieved to not have found you in my bed when I got to my hotel room 😂

Way to go buddy! Congrats to all. I know my S-I-L has the northbound fever now after he got his PB up there, I may have to give it a try ? So please keep releasing them biguns so I can maybe get lucky too. :-P

Speaking of which: when the season ends in the fall, do fluke head east into deeper waters of the Atlantic, or south into warmer waters?

When the colder weather comes around the Fluke up north will funnel out of the bays and be in the deeper ocean channels like Sandy Hook and Ambrose working their way offshore to their wintering grounds. This is a great time of year since they stick to the channels and makes them easier to target. Once that's over you continue to look deeper and deeper until it's time to switch over to Blackfishing and Stripers
